"Yup," Jasmine said, more prepared for what to expect. It had taken a moment to realize that the hope from herself was what had saved Shayde. So this time, she'd have to use friendship. "Le'ts go."

Shayde noded his head, and felt the slight energies. Same thing happened as last time between him and her. He charged at the Black Shayde, and Black Shayde came around with a fist, but this time, Shayde was ready. Golden Shayde brought his hand up, and caught the fist, and used that grip to twist, and spin, and throw Black Shayde across the room. Golden Shayde charged at Black Shayde, and suddenly, Black Shayde kicked him in the face. Shayde stumbled back a bit and laughed. "That one again? How stupid." Golden Shayde charged at Black Shayde, and Black Shayde tried to kick again, but Golden Shayde stepped aside, and punched him in the face. Black Shayde stumbled, and Golden Shayde grabbed him, and threw him to the center of the room, as before, and charged over. Just as he was about to pin him, Black Shayde started to move, but Golden Shayde moved aside and caught him, and forced him back to the center again. "DO IT NOW! YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO!"

"Yeah," Jasmine said, thinking, trying to find the feeling, the one that would stop the darkness. Trying to find her friendship, her friends. But somehow, even remembering things done with her best friends didn't help her find it, even directly recalling how her and Jenni beat the darkness together. But this was too different, this was saving Shayde, who, ever since he had come here, had always been there, always saving her. She had to help him now, save him, like he always did for her. She stared at Shayde, surprised for a moment. She hadn't noticed how much he really had meant to her, how from just a short bit of time, it was hard to believe just 3 days, he'd come to be more than just a friend. At that moment, she finally found that feeling needed to bind the darkness from Shayde.

Suddenly, a light grabed Shayde, and jerked him out of the way. Then, his enemy was sealed. They were teleported to the main room, and all the doors opened except for Jasmines Darkness. All the versions behind them came out, and the Jasmines fused into Jasmine, and the Shaydes lined up in front of them. All the other shaydes except for Loyalty and Darkness charged at the two. Shayde had no idea what Jasmine just did, but it was big. "What the...what did you do?" Golden Shayde said. Suddenly, just before they hit the two, the shaydes were hit with golden energy, and sent to their respective rooms, sealed away. Shaydes Dark Loyalty version charged at Golden Shayde, but the golden energy did not work on him yet. Shayde needed to weaken him, or strengthen himself. Then it dawned on him. He always stayed with Jasmine, but did not know why. He finally realised why, and suddenly his golden energy returned to full power. Loyalty Shayde was sent to his respective room, and all the versions of Shayde except for Darkness turned golden again. But Darkness was still loose, and too powerfull to beat that way. Golden Shayde charged at Black Shayde, and they collided grappling, pushing against each other with extream power. Then they both jumped back, and drew a single dagger. Golden Shayde drew the Lightday, Black shayde the Darknite. They charged, and slashed with blades.....

Golden Shayde and Black Shayde locked blade to blade, then jumped back. Golden Shayde charged, and, unexpectedly, threw his Dagger. It spun through the air, and stuck in Dark Shayde's shoulder. As Golden Shayde got there, he jumped, and kicked hard, catching Black Shayde in the face. He landed, and pulled the dagger out, so he would have it again. He punched Black Shayde again while he was still stumbling, and knocked him to the ground. Shayde began to charge, but Black Shayde grabbed him, and threw him the direction he was running. Golden Shayde landed on his feet, and laughed. They both put their daggers away. Black Shayde had already healed the stab wound. Golden Shayde charged his right fist with Golden Energy, just as Black Shayde charged his right fist with Black Energy. They charged, and punched at the same time. Their fists collided, and they pushed against each other. Bright golden energy glowed on Golden Shaydes side, and Bright Black energy glowed on Black Shaydes side. They were perfectly matched, and neither progressed. Golden Shayde yelled to Jasmine. "I CANNOT DO THIS ALONE! I NEED YOU TO HELP ME! BIND HIM! BIND HIM!"
((this origionally was not a double posty, wedge had posted, and seeing as jasmine really had nothing to do but stand there, I replied again, to get to where Jasmine could do something.))

"You aren't alone," Jasmine said, intensely watching the battle. She had to stop this darkness, find a way to save Shayde. She had to save him; she didn't want to be alone again, after he had shown her she wasn't.

the versions of Shayde continue to struggle, and finally, the light of Jasmine and Shayde combine, and he overpowers Dark Shayde. Dark Shayde is bound as the others, and suddenly, his side of his mind goes like Jasmines, gold and blue. Then, all the versions of shayde came walking out of their doors in a trance. They all walked tward Shayde, and one by one, in turn, fused into him. When darkness came, it was weak. It was nearly destroyed. It fused into him, and he returned to normal color, no longer golden. He looked at Jasmine. They both looked normal, but Shayde started to glow just Like jasmine. "Lets go." Suddenly, they dissapeared from the chamber.... In the cave: reality, no longer in minds Shayde woke up, and staggered to his feet. Then, he looked at Jasmine. She was beginning to wake. He crouched down by jasmine, and helped her up a bit, holding her in his arms, laying across his leggs. "Wake up. Wake up. Its all over now. We are together, and we will not be alone anymore. We...." but he could think of nothing else to say. |

Jasmine sat up, blinking. "It's done...you're okay." She smiled happily, and hugged him. "You don't know how happy I am to know that you're okay."

Shayde just hugged her back, then sat there like that with her. He was shocked that it worked. Once he met his Dark Counterpart, he realised that there should not have been a way for it to work. He thought about it, then spoke to Jasmine. "It all worked because of you.....you and I, I mean.....I mean.....We are closer than I origionally thought.....I mean, now I think about it, when I first met you, you and I were practically inseperable. Think about it, when you left to go get Alysha, which was not to long ago, that was the first time you and I went opposite directions. I mean....what I am getting at is....I mean....we only managed this because....." He could not think of a way to put it to words. He was lost, so he merely trailed off, hoping Jasmine might already have caught his point.

Shayde thought on that a bit. "Mabe..." He leaned over, and kissed her on the cheek, then whispered, "Lets go home."

Jasmine looked at Shayde, almost surprised. "You're the first, only guy to ever kiss me...but then, you're the only one I've ever liked in that way, I mean, beyond just a normal friend.... You're the only one I've really connected to..."

Shayde looked Jamine in the eyes, and laughed slightly. "I understand, since you are the first for me to connect to....huh?" Shayde noticed the aura she had when they seperated minds...it was still there. "Hmm, we conected litteraly." He laughed slightly, then looked her in the eyes, suddenly unsure what to do.

"Yeah," Jasmine said, smiling. "I guess this would make me more than just the friend of the DigiDestined, huh..." She stopped, not really sure what to say besides the little talking they were doing, although she didn't mind the talking at all.

Shayde laughed slightly. "I guess so....though this is odd. My energies should have faded from you already....yet...." Shayde shrugged slightly. "Who knows...." Shayde was suddenly aware that his digimon were purposefully stalling for time....so as to allow him and Jasmine some time....
