This is currently being planned, although we are not completely sure on when, or even if. However, it is a fun thing to discuss in case it does happen, or just for plain enjoyment.
Who do you think would be the best partners for DNA digivolving, and what would the resulting digimon be like?

It was my idea originally, so let me clairify.
It's a idea of Digimon between two players that DNA Digivolve togeather. Suggested rules are:
1- Only one Digimon a player.
2- Both Digimon have to be the same Digivolution level(Champion + Champion, Ultimate + Ultimate, Mega + Mega[or any Mega sub-catigory])
3- Both players have to agree 100% about which Digimon to combine, which of the 3 levels they will be when they do, what the resulting Digimon will look like, and what it's general stats are(Data type, Digimon group, family, etc.)
4- Players should have a general idea of what the fused Digimon will do beforehand. No arguments when they're fused.
5- Both players RP the Digimon when it's their turn to post.
A li'l how to: When RPing, one player(while RPing the tamer/partner of their half of the combined Digimon) will tell the other player(through their characters) to DNA Digivolve. The other player in the following post will briefly take over RPing the other Digimon in order to combine them. Then, both of the 2 players take turns RPing the fused Digi in each of their posts untill the Digimon devolve. If the 2 Digimon are perminantly fused, one player takes complete control.

My characters digimon DNA digivolve together though i have it all plannd so there MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ::Starts gasping for air then falls over and starts twitching::  |

Any ideas for the other DF people?
Although, how would partners be determined? By humans that are similar or work together, or by digimon that go together?

Muaha, but I have a secret myself, with another Df member. We've already decided that we want to have a DNA Digimon, and that's about it, but in case this person does not want to be identified, I'm not saying the name.

Well if another player posts that they have a secret DNA partner, we'll know who it is, now won't we? Anyway, I myself might have a DNA partner. Not telling anyone who it is yet though ;D |

I MIGHT be willing to offer Neodevimon or Archanikaratenmon as a DNA divivolve component....but ya gotta contact me on PM or something first and discuss it with me |

Seriously, if a couple of ppl are as close as Tai/Matt(Omnimon) or Davis/Ken(Paildramon), it's not too farfetched of an idea. |

umm....might I add something here? Davis/Ken were not close at all. Hardly. They just had a common problem, and a common goal, and worked together....they needed to combine powers in order to succede, so they did.

They had a very close relationship before though. At least if you consider the fact that I think hero vs villan(Digimon Emperor) a close relationship ;D
Besides, with the things you just mentioned in mind, there should be lots more DNA Digivolution going on then...

yes, so once again, I offer my Neodevimon and Archanikaratenmon as components for DNA divivolution. However, if you use Neodevimon, you must realise that the mode he is in will effect the look of the resulting digimon, (prolly cause it to have diff mode....dunno the rules on it, though....so I dunno for sure) but yeah. A lot more should be going on, cause ken/davis were not close, they got along, and davis forgave ken for his past, but they were not close....slightly freinds, but thats it, lol.

My bad about the Davis/Ken thing.
Anyway, of course the result will look like the 2 components. As for the look of all Digimon created this way, I will draw them. Keep in mind that the forms aren't predetermined to what 2 Digimon'll look like fused, so I still wouldn't know what you guys would have in mind.

actually you can make them look nothing like it if you want remember Shakkuamon? (i know i cant spell) he looked nothing like Ankylomon or Angemon

Well yeah, but... yeah...
Okay, Shakkoumon was an exception. Any other ones looked pretty much gthe same as their components. Omnimon, Milinniummon, Silphymon, Beowolfmon(technically)...

So, relating this back to DF, who should go together? If not completely based on how well the people get along together, what would decide it exactly?
And if it is on some degree based on friends, then, there's many ways taht can be taken. Best friends, couples, family, there's many levels of friendship at DF. (then there's levels of disfriendship, like Brian and...anyone, pretty much....)
Or if it's based on who'd look best with who, then what determines that? I'm relaly not sure on all this, so...yeah. tombe me. If you want, you can use my characters as examples to help me understand. I'm too tombed on this.
