Since the What If game turned out to be fun, and very productive in thinking on how things might have been different, I thought, maybe we should look deeper into the various questions that occured there, and maybe other questions that aren't exactly 'what if ....'
The rules are as follows.
Post any question you want, but show reasoning and explainations. Number the questions.
When answering a question, post the number so it's easy to see what is replying to what. Avoid one line answers.
Do not ask questions or whine about power or levels or similar stuff. DF is not a power fight, and I don't really want to see that brought into this sort of topic.
Have fun.
DO not get too mad at others for having an opinion that you do not agree with.

Question 1.
Was bringing Brian and Pirelli back from the other dimensions a good idea?
Yes- It caused Wedge to stop being so 'Mr bad wedge'. He got back Pirelli and Rosa. He even got to working with the group again. Also, Pirelli's teleporting is always useful.
No-Is anything relating to Brian a good thing? Not always. Brian is a hazard that must always be watched, to make sure he's not killing Brandy. He often fights with people, and rarely gets along with others. He barely gets along with his old friends.
And Lunamon always gets made at Canamon for teleporting illusions inside.

Q1: Yes- He seems like a good guy deep down. He's just a little moody. He still seems to me like he's still going to help out at the end, and his good deeds already outweigh the bad(especially since he seems like he's all talk). Besides, he's relatively harmless, even twords brandy. Then again, can anyone imagine 2 Brians in DF? Hmmm....
Yeah, like that'll ever happen... ;D

Q1 Bringing pirelli back was good but Brian nope he is bad very very annoying and plus he pissed me off to the point of threats.
now for my question
Do you think it was a good idea to bring Brandy back from Realemon as soon as I did.

I personally see nothing wrong with it, but I'm not sure how far this really goes. Do you have any particular concern with it or something?
Another question.
Question 3
What would have happened if Jasmine had gotten a digimon, at any point in time?
This can be looked at from several angles. If gotten in the years of LD/AK, then she'd probably feel like she fits in more, but also have an even closer connection to her friends(how that's possible I don't know). But, she'd have stuck around the final battle longer than she did(if she had any control in that), and may have ended up being caught by Realemon.
If in the two years between HG and DF, then it's be a lot different. If during the first year, it'd be from her own (season 3) dimension, and she'd maybe feel closer to those kids, although the friends here would still be her best friends. She would come to Acamina after the fusion.
-If the year after coming here, then she'd be safer, and maybe would have been able to save one of her friends, maybe. In that, there's no real telling.
If in DF, then...I'm not sure. Probably feel like she's actually able to do things for herself and not have to depend on other digidestined. But beyond that, I'm not sure.

Well, she would not be normal Jasmine if she did.....but at the same time, it would be a pleasant change. Her connection to the digi-destined shows that she really should be digi-destined herself. Mabe Lucemon could eventually be her digimon, (but if that happened, ya would have to take over that char, no win or loss to me,) but it sounds like it would be a good idea, really. But her arrangement with Lucemon at the moment sounds like it would be a happy medium if her having a digimon has other bad effects at this point.

Well, exactly how would she not really be normal Jasmine? or, is this about if she had gotten one beofre, or now? If in the past, she might be different, but that'd be expected. She wouldn't have to rely on others to protect her. If now, she'd...well, she's already trying to break free of any dependance.
-- ALso, if she had gotten a digimon now or in past, then, how might that have affected her dimensional obsession? Would it have lessened, now with other things to worry about? Or, maybe increased, having more things to worry about protecting that digimon from? If in the younger years, then it might have increased the obsession to wanting to find out mroe about the digimon and stuff. But, still, digimon can take up time that one might not have for other obsessions. Although, it'd also depend on the digimon.
--For example, It takes more time and energy for Jenni to babysit Hidimon than it does for Cira to be with Plitimon.

Well, if she got a digimon right now, she would be diff, but only a little. She would be obssessed with the Dimensions, and Digimon, both, even more so than now. Meaning she would try to overwork herself even more.

Will Brian's love for Michelle negate all his crankiness eventually?
Yes- It caused his crankiness to begin with, so why not?
No- Brian will never change! At least, not willingly...

...I suppose I should explain the whole situation, which most is rooted in HG, and the story before that.
Brian and Michelle had been dating since about 2003, until HG. THey weren't really breaking up, but she had to move, so they knew that they might lose contact.
But, during the HG rpg, Realemon kidnapped Michelle, and trapped her in the Gotsumon Jail. The Gotsumon there are extremely cranky about people who break rules and stuff, and never forgive people. The year before HG, Brian had to help get Wazumi and Ken out of there, so he, along with the other Lost and Aspect digidestined, knew how going there wouldn't be good. They would all get arrested.
So, he wanted to find aonother way to save her. Brandy disagreed, and that began the Brandy/Brian fighting. She let him go help Lunamon at the tower, while the others tried to save her. They did, but it still left Brian not having any respect for Brandy.

Now, this can seem that because they had to save Michelle, that caused the fight, so she could be the cause. Or, just coincidence and if they hadn't started fighting there, it would have happened somewhere else.
Or, it could be that the general situation of losing her is the cause of his crankiness, and the idea that he might lose her to Realemon pushed him over the edge.
But, regardless of the past, what will happen in the future with these two?
(I personally see them being happy and most of hte time, we have a non-cranky Brian!!!)

Seriously, if not for Pirelli, then, at HG, you might have acutally worked with Realemon. Then, things would be a lot harder for all of us, and you'd never have joined us.
(And Pirelli would still be into Ponce kinda)

lol you sure about that? ;D #1-No one liked to play him. #2-No one knows anything baout his digimon besides the name. #3-Pika don't like him #4-Wedge would hurt him #5-He's a trouble making tombe. #6-He'd have no purpose besides being in the way and probably encouraging the Kenny/Rita wars(and probably start encouraging the Brandy/Brian wars also) Do we really need Ponce back? |
