The future of DF (and HG, part 3, NG, and the orig

I have mentioned this idea to most of you, but not much, and none to some. I haven't even fully figured it out myself, although I am getting there.

I am trying to figure out a way to convert the whole RPG and story into, in the end, a 6 part book series. It will not be digimon anymore, but a combination of my own ideas, convertions, and what you guys say. Since, all of you have made a major impact on DF alone. Some were back in HG, and all of you are in part 3, or I hope you would be. Same for NG, although nothing is really known about that.

I have begun to plan out the convertions needed for the first three books, being the two parts of the original story, possibly renamed to Exploring Truth, Losing Worlds, and Hiding Game. DF would need the most changing, except in name. Same for part 3, and no idea what in the world NG is about at all.

The majority of the changes are going to be name changes for the humans, and finding ways to remove the digimon aspect of the story(which is kinda hard for a digimon rpg). My current theory on how to do this, is as follows:

Instead of the digital world, there is another world, but mostly unknown space, with not much there. It is refered to as the hidden plane, a place few know of, but with wierd effects and creatures there. Occationally, people go there, but typically, those people already have some sort of unknown ability that draws them to that world. The ability is mostly secret, even to the person who has it. So, although many people have it, it is very rare when people are actually aware and able to use it. It works best in the hidden plane; that is the reason why people have this abilty in the first place. In that world, it is rumored people who once lived there left to be with other humans.

Now, the convertions that I currently have are as follows:

Characters--
-Except for Ken, no other TV people will appear.
-Ken will be renamed(new name unknown), with the ability to discover other people's abilities. This is what causes the others to learn about their abilities, and to go to the hidden plane.
-Jenni will be renamed,(new name unknown) but mostly will remain the same. Her ability is slightly different. It was herself to have psychic powers, but after being unused and unknown for so long, unlocking them caused the powers to sort of create their own being, Hidimon.
-Hidimon will be renamed, (new name unknown) Same powers and personality will remain.
-AJ will be renamed,(new name unknown), with fire abilities similar to Dragomon/Bobdramon.
-Brandy will be renamed, (new name unknown) with water/ice/protection abilities similar to Alimon/Alidramon
-Pirelli will have Canamon's teleporting abilities, with later on gaining basic flight, maybe.
-Brian will...okie, that's one problem.
-Wazumi...another flaw. But both remain, and he keeps his name.
-Daemon will simply be Dameon, his human form, but with similar abilities, whatever they were...
-Isadora will be renamed,(new name unknown), with ability to access other worlds
-Jasmine will be exactly the same.
-Sam will be renamed, and have no connections to Ken, like in original story. Still unsure on his purpose, since he'd have no powers(like Jasmine)
-Alysha may be renamed(if so, new name unknown), with some abilities of controling darkness, and enhancing Lunamon's powers.
-Lunamon will be renamed, and most likely with no digivolved form. Definately same personality and background.
-Kenny will be renamed, with minor fire powers.
-Ponce will be renamed, with very minor protection powers. (almost want to leave him out, but i won't)
-Michelle may be renamed(if so, new name unknown), with...with powers similar to whatever her digimon was(i forgot)
-Realemon will be renamed, but other than that, mostly the same, including background.
-N'amie Pas is exactly the same
-Michael may be renamed(if so, new name unknown), with...don't know what ability.
-Cira will be the same except with minor electicity powers (no, not invivisblity)

Plot-(Old names will be used)
In Book 1-Exploring Worlds
-Ken moves to Acamina, and finds that Jenni and her friends AJ, Brnady, Pirelli and Brian have powers. They start exploring the hidden plane, but soon find a kid named Dameon causing trouble, and he starts trying to take their powers. After Jasmine and Sam appear in their world, not too long after Dameon is able to control most of them, Jenni and Jasmine find ways around Dameon's spell.
-After a boring summer, Isadora accedently encounters the kids, and they have to deal with Dameon again. But this time, Isadora is able to find a world to trap him and her in a secret world. She sends Jasmine and Sam back to their world, unaware of Dameon using one last spell on Brandy and AJ(no one knows).

Book 2-Losing Worlds.

-Later, the group explores more of the hidden world, Kertermus Island, and find kenny, ponce, michelle and alysha there with no reason. They get attacked by Lunamon, who is kinda nuts. Hidimon says that the key is finding the aspect keys, so they explore the island for them. THey later find that their friends are the keys. They go back to the tower, enter, and discover that alysha is able to control Lunamon, to a point. Lunamon gives them the dporters, no longer evil/bad/cranky(okie, still crnaky)
-They use the dporters to visit jasmine, but, after arriving, Dameon's old spell makes brandy and AJ go into a coma. The others start trying to find the dimension isadora sent them to to make him reverse the spell. (Most idmensions travels are same as in summary for yr 2.)
After Realemon is stopped and goes away(we think to another dimension), we find isadora's dimension, and he rearranges the spell, waking brandy and aj, but leaving isadora a teenager forever.

Book 3-Hiding Game
-Overall, mostly similar to the HG summary plot, except only other characters not in DF taht will occur will be N'amie Pas, and Michael. Also, may include the Jasmine story in this book, or as intro to DF book.

Book 4-Deciding Factors.
-Mostly following the Daily Reviews/RPG, except for as explained later.

Book 5-part 3
-Not telling

Book 6-NG
-I don't know yet, except this is with the kids, i think...

I have not figured out how to exactly factor in digivovlution, which would not be needed in this idea for the converted story. This doesn't effect much except the spires in DF, and digieggs.

Also, there is a major factor still not addressed. You. All of you. I have no idea exactly what to do with your names, your digimon, your background. I don't want to do anythign without your permission, and I need to be sure that I am not messing with other people's copyrights. So, please post so I know what i can include, and waht i must change. Also, keep in mind that I will be writing the other books too, so be aware of your future.

(and of course, I will dedicate the last 3 books to the tombe club, regardless of what happens in the book. book 1 is to pojo, 2 for real friends in story, 3 for rp friends then)

Deragon: Last name Lucifel Will stay the camo katana weilder

Betamon: Will be a Samuri that depending on how the story works can shapeshift into a Serpent

Goblimon: Sorc. to model after Myotismon form

Takakura and Celia: Same

Black Agumon: a Dragon

Black Gabumon: a big ice wolf

CLoud: will be renamed my real life name but will keep the sword

Garmmon: will be just a talking wolf that shapeshifts into his armor form (again if it is allowed)

Leon: Last name Sanders slightly changed wears black muscle shirt black pants and a trencoat sword will be shorter possibly have 2

Impmon: will be like beelzemon just a bad biker guy that can turn his arm into a gun

Why dont you include monsters in there, and just give them new names, and turn the "digital" crap into "magical" ? I mean, then, you can change digivolve to a form of magical transformation. The divices and such used could be just magical artifacts, like the Amulet of Balance Shayde uses for Sephiromon. Then, you can change a small piece of Sephiromon. Make him a spirit traped in the Amulet of Balance, and require the Masamune and Murasame, (you can rename them if ya want,) to unlock him. In unlocking him, one must fuse with a monster of light, and a monster of darkness, inorder to unlock him. The two can be just like was stated in the origional plot behind them, and just be anciant paladin and dark knight of some sort, and stick close to the origional story behind them from there.

As for Lucemon and her new forms, that can be, again, just a type of monster that split into light and dark counterparts...

As for Draek....still Dark Knight....prolly.....

Celdur Telgen........a rougue of light....

Shayde Darkhour.....quite a complex Paladin. OI, that char will be a pain in the....well, ya get the idea. His plot is the most dificult, because it is split into many forms....so I will think on this a bit.....but I hope I have contributed to your cause, jenni. And I think its great. Just know this. You will have t change the names of all of my chars.......all the human ones, at least, because they are not copywrighted just yet, but they will be eventually, for they are names I plan on using in books myself, lol. Which, that is part of the reason for this thread, is to prevent such cross-pathing. lol.

About the "Digimon" in your story... they could just be generic monsters... I mean, there's plenty of monster stuff around like Digimon anyway.

Now, even though the hidden plane does have monsters and that sort, I'd prefer to keep that down to a minimum. I want to mainly focus on the humans, not their pets that do all the fighting and the humans get the credit for it. (which is part of why season 4 is my second favorite)

Shayde, it'd help if you could come up with whatever new names you want for your people, since, they are still yours really. Also, I know you were going to use them in your story, so, yeah, part of why I'm doing this thread. But the Sephy thing(whatever he gets renamed to) was alreayd going to be relatively the same, plotwise.

Also, There are a few things on my end of the story that I would like help with. The renaming of most of my people, and a few other things, like exactly how Brian and Wazumi would work out....unless they're both normal humans with shared abilities of something or other...

I really just want to focus on the people that make up the story. I know in a few cases, the digimon can't be removed; they are too deeply involved in the plot, like, Hidimon, Lunamon, Realemon, and Shayde's. But, in those cases, it wouldn't be the same without them. Not to me mean to anyone, but, in some of the other cases, it complicates things with so many digimon, and stuff. And, looking at the time, I see that I am babbling, and it is time to go. I should be on later today, but at a weird time. I'll do regular posting then, and maybe be on msn. Bye.

I will talk with you on MSN first before I settle on a name, cause it will take me time. Besides, my dragon digimon will need names, because they are too important to remove, as you have said....but at least shayde dont take credit for his digimons advancements, in fact, shayde does some of the fighting himself! lmfao. (oi, I never realised just how much diff I made shayde from normal.....) I also have a few digimon that will prolly not be able to be removed, as they are not connected to any human, and thus will not have anybody to just give their power to.....

I've recently been trying to summarize the main events in each of the parts-LD, AK, HG, DF. LD and HG are about the same, AK a bit shorter, and DF is just as long but I've only written up until the return of Brian and Pirelli. I know that this is just the summary, so when everything is written out, LD will be a lot shorter, AK maybe longer than HG, and DF mega long. And then there's part 3 and NG that I haven't thought about much, since i can't really figure them out. I know some of part 3's events, but no idea the length, or anything much. NG is, not determined.

So, my ideas on this was to try to combine some of the preDF books, but I'm not sure which ones, or all three. But, the other option that comes to mind now is spliting up DF. But, then when I do the last two, it may be longer than DF, for all we know. Any ideas, suggestions, anything?

(also interested in what you guys think might be good names for my characters. I'm trying to plan mine but I've gotten used to the idea that you guys think of better things sometimes. So I'm open to options(or i better be )

Jenni, I would not worry so much about the varying length of the books, cause a lot of good book series's are varied in length throught the series. That is just my opinion, of course.

Wedge- Umm, pretty much the exact same as he is, perhaps at the beginning obviously he will be Mr.Bad Wedge.

Undramon- The same look, but perhaps the name Lucian or I'll think of something else.

Strabimon- Later, same look, name-Amatsu (Uh-Mot-soo)

Rosa- Comes along later, but same for her, keep her story the same.

Keramon- Same look, name will be Kitsue (Kit-soo-a)

To help with the DF book, I'm going to try to keep track of the daily reviews. So, I've started trying to do the daily review for today, even if the day isn't over. It's driving me nuts. Absolutely nuts. I think I am going to plan some suggestions for part 3 so i can try to keep my sanity whenever I do the daily reviews for that.


And, a question that I need to eventaully figure out. What should I name the series, or at least refer to it as? Until I publish it, i could just call it the (digimon) RPG series, but i'l like to get a real name in my head instead. Any suggestions?

I cannot address the names issue for ya, I am poor with names, as you already know, rofl.

But I would make this suggestion, wright it in Digimon format first, bassically, just wright what shows on here, then, after you have it written out and the gaps and such fixed in the plot, then make the changes.
