Two small Digimon, Bearmon and Floramon were tending to the fruit gardens, and Bearmon began to play around. He threw a meat-apple at Floramon, and it in turn exploded on her face. She snicked and chased him far into the fields, close to the Diatoro Forest edge.
Wedge strolled into the small village of Kentaro and headed straight for Angemon's hut. He burst in, smiling. "HIYA!" He yelled. Rosa popped in behind him, and smiled aswell.
Bearmon had tripped on a rather large tail like thing. He lookd at it strangely, and it began to move away. He looked up....
Wedge was laughing along with Angemon, Rosa and their other three Digimon when they heard the screaming. All six of them ran outside and towards the fruit fields. Rosa screamed and pointed to a huge Digimon had Floramon by the leg in his mouth, and Bearmon was nowhere to be found. The huge Digimon was known as the Ultimate level Digimon, Stegomon.

"Umm, huge bird?" Rosa said, pointing up ."Looks like Pirelli's on it too" she added.
Angemon flew at Stegomon, and attacked it with everything he had, being countered every hit however. He was beginning to lose badly, so he tried harder and harder.
Wedge thought about it. Can't send rookies, and because of the Spires... "GRRRRR! I CAN'T DO ANYTHING!"
Stegomon swung his tail at Angemon, smacking him away, far away. "No chance for you, Guardian" Stegomon snickered.
Rosa waved down Fylzemon and Pirelli, hoping they'd land and help.

Pirelli spotted them, and flew down and landed by them. She got off Flyzemon and ran over to Wedge, hugging him. "I was so worried, what's going on? Should we go, or try to fight it? Can we fight something like that?"
"Maybe try no." Flyzemon said.

"No Pirelli, it'd endager our Digimon too much, and don't try to Digivolve, the spires block any kind of Digivolution past Rookie, so we'll probably be seeing more of these higher level guys. Uhh, oh man I wish I knew what to do!" Wedge was beginning to be more frustrated, he needed to help Angemon. He suddenly saw a blue flash from his left side and a purple one from his right, then saw Undramon and Strabimon attacking Stegomon.
Angemon got back up, and went up into the air, then flew downwards, calling "HAND OF FATE!" His fist lit up in a golden glow, and when he reached Stegomon, he punched him, hard.
Stegomon felt the fist on his skull, and he got a major headache. "Guillotine wheel!!" Stegomon turned himself into a rolling spike ball and charged at Angemon, crushing over him.
Wedge reached forwards, and shouted "ANGEMON!" He got out of the tight grip of Pirelli's arm, and ran towards his friend.
Rosa held Pirelli back, and Keramon just stood there, looking at Stegomon. "Aren't you gonna help?" she asked. Keramon nodded and jumped forwards.
"CRAZY GIGGLE!" Keramon called, firing off three energy orbs, smashing againt the large spike wheel, which continued to trample over the already wounded Angemon.

Pirelli watched, but didn't want to just stand here. "Flyzemon, help keep Wedge safe, if he wants to be that close, okay?"
"Fly him, okay." Flyzemon agreed, and went over to Wedge. "Fly?"

All three Digimon jumped on Stegomon, making him become forced backwards. Strabimon clawed at him, Undramon kicked and slashed with his Tiny Enker blade in Sword mode, and Keramon continued ot blast enrgy orbs at close range.
Wedge shook his head at Flyzemon's question. "No fly" He then ran to the wounded Angemon, and kneeled down beside his head. "Angemon.... I'll make that bastard pay, I don't know how but, I will...." And in reaction to his words, Wedge's Crest began to glow, and float on top of Angemon's head. Suddenly, his body began to glow black, and become a small Egg, the Crest returning back to Wedge's neck. Wedge then touched the black glowing oval, and it began to take form, becoming a Digi-Egg in place of Angemon. Wedge picked it up, seeing that there was a small computer with it. He whispered, "So THIS is my D-Terminal, how cool!" He had seen Jenni's and the other Digi Destined's, but now he had his own.He then turned to Rosa, asking "How do I activate this?" He figured she would've remembered this.
Rosa shrugged and turned to Pirelli, and asked the same question, "Well, Pirelli, how do those Digi-Eggs work? You gotta say something, right?"

"I'm sorry, I'm not really sure..." Pirelli said, worrying. "I knew the kids, but they never used the armor forms in front of me. I don't even think they used them since they had their problems. I don't know really. Something about 'digi-armor', and their D-Terminals." She pulled out her D-Terminal, and started looking at different things on it. "Hey, look at this." She ran over to Wedge. "It's some sort of file I've never seen before. But nothing's inside. Check yours, maybe something's in yours since you have a egg and I don't. But whatever you do, be careful, okay?"

Wedge sighed, and clicked on his D-Terminal, and then searched through the main menu, seeing 'Legendex'. He opened a file called "Digi-Egg and Armour Digivolutions" in the Legendex on his menu.
"When the Digital Emperor threatened the lives of human and digimon alike, the Digi Destined children called upon small metallic eggs that gave their Digimon the power to destroy the Digital Emperor's creation, the Dark Spires, and return him to normal. Info: The activation required little effort, mainly because it was a phrase, not an action. The phrase was 'Digi-Armour, Energize!'. Digi-Egg and Armour Digivoltuions were the key to most of the battles fought back then. File End"
"Well then, let's do this thing! UNDRAMON, STRABIMON!" Wedge watched them jump off and Keramon return to Rosa's side. He also saw Stegomon angry, ramming towards them. Wedge held out the Digi-Egg, and it began to glow as he called "DIGI-ARMOUR, ENERGIZE!"
Undramon felt his eyes close on their own, and felt metal clamping down upon him, and his stature growing, strength increase and speed enhance."UNDRAMON, ARMOUR DIGIVOLVED TO..... GLADEMON!"
Strabimon felt himself shoot up in height, and felt things forming on him. "STRABIMON, ARMOUR DIGIVOLVED TO........ STRIKEDRAMON!"
"THE DELIVERS OF DEATH!"
"THE DELIVERS OF DEATH!"
Both Digimon smirked, Glademon pulling out his Knight swords, and Strikedramon inspecting his three claws.
Wedge was a bit too overexcited. He was so happy he ran backwards, grabbed Pirelli and lifted her up onto his shoulders. "YEAH, GO GUYS GO!"
"Hey, PUNK KID! SHUT YOUR MOUTH!" Stegomon ran forwards at Glademon and Strikedramon, expecting to just bowl them over easily.

Pirelli watched happily, or at least, excitedly. She wasn't happy that Wedge had lost a friend, that wasn' right. But, now, they had a chance. And he had actually gotten to use a digiegg. She was happy for him. This was great. But once again, it just made him able to ptotect her, while she couldn't really do the same for him. She'd tried though.

Stegomon was very close to Glademon, so he sped up and shoved his head upwards, hoping to make him go up into the air.
Glademon jumped up on an angle, out of the way of the assault. He crossed his swords, then slashed them forwards and away from eachother, calling out "CROSSING BLADE!!". A large X of black energy shot from the swords as they seperated, and Glademon pushed it forwards with the hilt of the swords.
Strikedramon ran forwards from behind Stegomon, his claws glowing."STRIKE CLAW!" He jumped upwards, and came down upon Stegomon, smashing the claws down on his left leg.
Stegomon fell forwards onto his left knee, and then flipped ontoh his side, just as the huge X came down on him. It landed right on his stomach, and in reaction, Stegomon began to whail loudly in pain.
"Keep it up guys, you got him on the ropes!" Wedge made it so both him and Pirelli were comfortable, because a 14 year old on his shoulder wasn't exactly what he'd say comfortable. "Just think, Pirelli ym dear, that Flyzemon will be able to use a Digi-Egg, but just as soon as you find it. Wonder what yours would be like..." He trailed off.

"My own?" Pirelli said, and almost fell off. "Why would I get one? I'm lucky if I get her to champion, and that was...I don't even deserve one. I'm no good in this, all I do is run. Like we ran during the battle..." Pirelli's voice started to shake, as she held in tears.

Wedge let her down and hugged her, smiling. "I'm sorry to upset you, Pirelli" He whispered, and when he looked up, he watched as Glademon and Strikedramon took Stegomon down.
Rosa walked up to them and tapped Pirelli on the shoulder, then said "Ya Pirelli, it doens't matter wether or not you win the battle, it's the fact that we need you, and besides you ARE a Digi Destined child, so you gotta get one sooner or later, right? And besides, Wedge believes you deserve one..."
"GOLDEN REPELL!" Glademon crossed his arms over his chest, then pushed them forwards, creatign this time a golden X that pushed Stegomon away, but also causing damage.
Strikedramon saw Stegomon coming towards him, stomach exposed, eyes closed. He felt sorry for him now, but he had deleted two Digimon, and for what? Pleasure? Pah, for this he was not allowed to live this life. Even if those Digimon will be revived as eggs again, he must pay. Strikedramon's mouth opened up, and began to glow golden. "STRIKE FANG!" He then shot an energy blast that took the form of a massive mouth of full, sharp teeth at Stegomon, piercing through his stomach, in the middle of where the Crossing Blade made an X.
"GAHHHH!" Stegomon felt the teeth go directly through his stomach, but not come out because of his shell, is shell wouldn't let anything out or in, which meant that the teeth would stay there and eat at him from the inside out. He began to feel dizzy, and fell on his stomach, able to run away, but just flopped down.
Wedge turned back to the battle in time to see Stegomon disappear, and a small Egg fly upwards to the sky. He smiled, then gave his Digimon a thumbs up.

"I'm sorry..." Pirelli said, still a bit shaken. "But, I wanted to be able to help you, and I didn't help at all when we left. And it's all my fault. Not really Brian's. He gave me ideas, but I pushed the buttons. So, it was my fault that we left, my fault. If we hadn't gone, then maybe things might be different....I know I'm being silly, even like the little kid that I used to be, but, I've just kept thinking that for the last two years. It's almost hard to believe we're really home."

Wedge sighed, and grabbed Pirelli's shoulder. "Ok, Ms.Ticony, my team runs on smiles. No frowning, no sad faces. Or sad statements for that matter, and no more talks about sad or the clown, stop me if I'm making sense" Wedge smiled, and let go of Pirelli, and lightly kissed her on the cheek.
Rosa picked up Keramon, and walked over to Pirelli and Wedge. "He never moves regularly, always jumps, so I'm gonna WALK him where we're going next. Come to think of it, where ARE we going next?"

Pirelli smiled when Wedge was being silly, but something still poked at her. "Wedge, Um..." She said, trying to remember. "I'm confused on what had happened, the last two years. I mean, with you. If you're not with the others. Jasmine, I mean. I don't want to fight my friends, but I'm not sure what to do."
