Chapter 11-Inspections
When Jasmine and Alimon got back to the tower, they both went straight to sleep, exhausted from the day's travels. It was almost noon the next day before they woke. It was a while before they said anything, both reflecting on the things they saw and learned the day before.
"Alimon," Jasmine finally said, straightening out her dress. "I think I need to go back into the city and find out more information, get a better understanding of what's happened here. There had barely been anything new in my world when the dimensions were fused, but your real and digital worlds were fused a lot longer, I need to see what's happened."
"Go us then let" Alimon said, walking over to Jasmine.
"No, I think you should stay here," Jasmine said. "Part of what I don't know about the world is how they feel about digimon. From just talking to Alysha, it seems clear that there have been weird things here, and I don't want you to get in trouble because of the unknowns. It seems clear that humans are decently safe, so I should be fine. I'll bring you next time."
"Safe not it does seem. Brandy if what find you?" Alimon asked.
Jasmine paused for a moment, mentally translating. "I have to take that risk. We can't try to help out unless we know what we're getting ourselves into, and the normal Brandy wouldn't want me putting you in danger anyway."
"True, but like this don't I still," Alimon said.
"I don't either, but I have to go." Jasmine said, then quickly left. While going past the trees, she grabbed a leafy branch, to try to sweep the darkness from the beach on the main land. It didn't work, so she gave up and just tried to find a path around the dark area. It took twice as long, but as long as she didn't have to see the clear proof that the world was wrong, Jasmine was fine with it.
Once back in 'proper' Acamina, she noticed that it didn't seem much different from the Acamina of the past. Most of the same places were there, and there were some digimon around. Not as many as she'd seen in the digital world before, but they were noticeable. Most of the people just avoided them, sometimes kids would talk to the cuter and safer digimon. There weren't any digimon with real human partners though.
She considered going to the college, but after getting a new bus book, found that the route was currently unavailable. Random attacks and different things were causing them to send the bus down Nee Way, but that took at least twice as long, taking way too many unnecessary turns when there had been a straight path before. She decided to wait on looking into the school and just go back to where the apartments where her and several of the others had lived.
It took about half an hour to arrive at the apartments. They seemed normal, just like before. Even the door to her and Wazumi's apartment seemed just like it had been a year before, but somehow she felt it wasn't really. She got out her keys, and tried it in the lock. Surprisingly, it opened. She walked in cautiously. Inside, it looked the same: same basic furniture, same table and chairs, same messy kitchen. Wazumi's room was strangely neater, but perhaps due to the lack of Brian being over all the time messing things up. But someone, most likely Wazumi, had been through all her things, mainly her desk. All her papers, books, and notebooks had been gone through. After further searching, she noticed most of her dimensional research was missing.
She sat down at the computer and started looking at her records of the papers that she had saved, when she heard noise outside. She quietly ran to the door and locked it, then peeked out the window. It was two girls, both with bright orange hair and pretty green eyes, wearing typical school uniforms. The older one was almost a teenager, and seemed a lot more serious than the younger, more curious one. They both had a sad expression, and Jasmine knew why. They were Brian's sisters.
She unlocked and opened the door slowly. The two girls jumped back, and the older one got a 2' long polished pole out of her backpack. "What're you doing here?" the girl demanded.
"I live here, or I used to. I'm Jasmine Steele."
"Cake's cousin!" the younger girl said. "Do you remember us? Anna and Rita Treyer, and our silly brother Brian?"
"Of course," Jasmine nodded. "After all the time he spent here, and Wazumi at your house, it'd be impossible to forget him or you two. How are you?"
"Why would you care?" Rita, the older sister, asked. "You disappeared at the same time he did, and our friend Pirelli. Why would you care that we lost another brother?"
"They were my friends," Jasmine said sadly. "I'm going to find them, that's why I'm back. But why're you here?" She knew not to confuse the girls with exactly how Brian was gone, but was curious about the other brother they must have lost. Brian had never mentioned having a brother.
"We're leaving rocks for him." Anna said. Jasmine looked down to see a small pile of pebbles along the doorway. Swept further down the path were hundreds more.
"When we used to move a lot, the boys said to leave rocks at places when someone was lost, so if they came back to that place they would know we were looking for them." Rita added. "It didn't help when we moved before they found them though, but I guess it wouldn't have mattered."
"But I think Brian will come back to his friends' house instead of come home." Anna said.
Jasmine nodded at their story, trying to figure out what the story behind it might be. She also wondered why someone, most likely Wazumi, would sweep the rocks away. "Hey, can I ask you to do me a favor?" she asked.
"Depends, I suppose." Rita said.
"Like I said, I'm going to look for him, but if you find him first, can you give him a note?"
"Sure," Anna said. "If we didn't have school we'd be looking for him, but our parents would freak out if they lost us too."
Jasmine smiled, and went inside and quickly wrote a letter to Brian, explaining what happened, and how she was trying to help out, and to go to Lulu Tower when they came back. She put it in an envelope and gave it to the girls.
"You better find him before we do, or else our parents will never let him our of the house!" Anna said as they left. Jasmine stayed there a bit more, looking at the old memories, once again living right in them. She grabbed more supplies and some money, and left, locking the door behind her.

Chapter 12-An Unwindy Night Jasmine continued to wander around the old neighborhood for a while, until she noticed that it was going to get dark in about an hour or so. She quickly went to the bus stop, and waited a while for it to finally arrive. It was dark by the time she got off, near the dark area on the way to the tower. Using the little light available (most lampposts were burned out, missing or destroyed), she tried to find her way past the dark area, back to the tower. The path she had found earlier was nowhere in sight, and the few remaining landmarks that might have been in the bus book were useless in finding her way through. After about an hour of wandering, she soon saw some light. Hopeful, she walked towards it, cautious in case it might be a trap. It turned out to one of many lampposts inside the perimeter of a large, fenced off area, surrounding a tall black tower. The area between the tower and the side of the fence Jasmine was near was about a block wide, with the same rumble and old tree terrain on her side of the fence. Staying away from the fence, typically with a tree in between her and the fence, Jasmine followed it, glad to be able to see, and know more about the general area. Near a corner of the fence, Jasmine stopped, and tried to figure out her general location. There were still no useful landmarks, and no way to really try to figure out the location. The moon was of no help-there was no moon tonight. She did notice a small breeze, but doubted it was coming from the ocean. She couldn't really remember if the wind should be going to or from the ocean; that was one part of her science class she could never keep straight. Ignoring the increasing wind the best she could in a dress, she started walking straight away from the corner. The wind, now directly opposite her direction, hit her straight on in an alarming force. Nervous, Jasmine ran for cover under a nearby tree. Sitting in the v-shaped nook near the base of the tree, she tied the scarf she still had in her hair in front of her face to block any debris that might be flying in the air. A sudden strong change of direction caused the wind to ram Jasmine in the back, pushing her to the ground. The wind changed direction again, and out of nowhere, sent Jasmine flying into the fence. She found herself unable to move against the wind. Trying to see through the scarf, for a moment she thought she saw a lack of movement around her. If the wind was strong enough to hold her in place against the fence, why wasn't it moving the leaves of the tree? "If you think such things, you should learn to think of reasons much quicker than you realize the problem." a voice said. Squinting through the scarf, and mentally yelling at herself for blinding herself in a dangerous place like this, she noticed someone in front of her, in dark clothing. "This is annoying, and rather demeaning. Gather yourself together," the person said, as Jasmine found herself floating in the air, with no wind around her. Able to move, she quickly pushed the scarf back on top of her head, and looked down at the person. She almost couldn't recognize the girl in a midnight blue shirt, with excessively long sleeves, going over her hands, and the end of the shirt being a couple inches above her knees. Under that she wore pale violet leggings, and short black boots. Her short, dark brown hair was in two pigtails tucked under her ears, and her eyes had an unnatural paleness, covering the natural pretty blue that Jasmine's dresses typically were. "Sit," the girl said, and Jasmine fell from the air. If not for a puff of air above the ground, she would have landed hard after a 7 foot drop. As the puff of air under her disappeared, Jasmine stood up, facing the girl. The moment she was able to see past the paleness in her eyes, which occasionally flickered, she could see that the girl was really almost like a distorted, bad version of herself. In reality, she knew the girl was really just Jenni. Her parallel self. "What'd they do to you?" Jasmine asked, stepping towards Jenni, forgetting the fact that Realemon's illusions not only change reality, but could change the mental reality of the illusioned people also. She just focused on the fact that her best friend was right in front of her again after so long. "They?" Jenni asked, annoyed. "There's no 'they', not in the sense that you are thinking. Brandy, Wazumi, they're useless in this aspect, they can't do anything in helping to change things to the way they should be. Realemon can though, and she's helping us, helping the world. Why are you so resistance? Clinging to a imagined truth that the digidestined are good and since we fought her, she's bad? The truth that Lunamon claimed that Realemon was bad, illusions were bad, and if Hidimon saw the truth, we had to believe it? What if Hidimon had known the truth, and then we made her change her mind? What if we were all just resisting the truth, and only she knew it?" Jasmine was speechless. Jenni had predicted almost everything she was about to say. She refused to believe what Jenni said, almost didn't want to believe those words had come out of her mouth. Something had to be possessing her, something able to make her able to do magical things. "Magical?" Jenni said, forcing Jasmine back up against the fence without touching her. "It's not magic, it's not real. It's all part of your imagination, what you think is real. Think about that, and why this is a perfect fit." "You're not you..." Jasmine whispered, trying to ignore Jenni. She couldn't be imagining all this, why would she imagine horrible things happening to her best friend? "Best friends don't abandon each other," Jenni interrupted her thoughts. "Anyone there knows I didn't leave of my own free will, and I tried to come back sooner," Jasmine replied, looking at Jenni. "What happened to you, why are you acting like this? The real Jenni I know, even if she had to fight her friends, she wouldn't be mean, or yell at them, or not even let them say things before they even know what they're...saying..." Jasmine stopped. How was Jenni predicting everything she said, everything she thought, or thought to think? <If you’re really as smart as everyone thinks you are, you’d have figured it out by now.> Jenni’s voice appeared in her head. Watching Jenni’s face, she saw that she hadn’t said that. It was all in her mind, as if psychic.
<I know you tend to be useless> Jenni continued. <I know you tend to just be there, watching our adventures, wanting to be part of our fun, part of our dimensional journeys that seem so wonderful. Yet you aren’t able to help when it gets troublesome with fighting. You have no digimon, you have no protection. Even Hidimon was more useful than you. Which is why, with her being missing, she doesn’t need to be here, since this current outfit assists in replicating her abilities. Another project is copying Canamon’s ability to teleport. But what could we copy off you? Nothing but a dimensional obsession.>
“Wrong,” Jasmine said, trying to move. “Do you guys have the same sense of friendship we had, two years ago? You did in the past. We all were friends, yet I don’t think you have that now. Why would you try to replace your own digimon, your true friends? What if one day, Realemon found a way to replace you?”<br> Jenni released Jasmine from the fence, as she walked up to her. “Then I’d have to stop her, show how useful I really am. They say I’m helpful in practicing things. I find it true. They won’t find another…” Jenni stopped. She stepped away from Jasmine. “I see what you’re trying to do, you want to divide our group. It won’t work, we’re too strong…” Jasmine noticed the paleness of Jenni’s eyes growing dimmer and dimmer. She desperately hoped this was the key to saving her, breaking free of the illusion.
“GO AWAY!” Jenni screamed at her, and pushed at Jasmine. A force of air pushed Jasmine away from Jenni, as she turned and ran through the fence. Jasmine watched, as the air kept pushing her, further and further away from the fence, and soon, she found herself on the beach. The air only stopped when Jasmine fell into the ocean. Looking up at the sky as she got out of the water and headed to the bridge to Kertermus Island, she saw the wind blow.

Bonus Chapter~Wedge~
The Great Tombe of Wedgamus Maximus
The solitude, the desolation was unendurable. He stood there, watching his seravnts as they did what he asked. As they pieced together the brick and metal, the glass and mechaniry, he couldn't help thinking he'd die from the lonliness. He couldn't stop thinking about it, and it made him want to scream, but instead he just stood there in Diatoro Forest, watchinig as a Kuwagamon and a Leomon put together his base. This, he thought, is where I'll spend my days, nights, nightmares and the loneliness. The sound of his friend's voice shook him awake from his depression. Undramon said "Hey Wedge, are you ok? Look, I know it's hard, but you have to sleep, you never do anymore. This Digimon don't care about you like i do, you have to get your rest". Perhaps he was right, maybe he should. Later. Now was the time for construction, they were almost done. He still couldn't believe that the Digimon, Kuwagamon, Leomon, Mekanorimon and even a Vermillimon would help him. All he had to really tell them was that he was fighting Realemon, and any digimon that he told would hop on his bandwagon and join in the fight. So far he had these guys, but more would come. Then he would have his army. Then he would have his revenge on Realemon for taking Pirelli away from him. He stared into the sky, as the sunset went down. This, he finally thought, is where I'll begin my revenge. Wedge felt a hand touch his shoulder and felt an unparalleled warmth, like that of Pirelli's touch, but when he turned around, it was his trusted friend who had taken the liberty of telling him "Time for you to sleep, Wedge" and pushed him into a nearby tent, and closed the zipper, laughing slightly. Wedge sighed, and slid inside of the sleeping bag, eyes open and wild, exploring the darkness of his triangular encampment. He slowly realised his eyes were closing and finally turned on his back, closed his eyes completely and fell alseep.
That night he dreamed, he finally drempt about the horrible day all this had happened. Pirelli, gone, Realemon, won, and Jasmine, still alive, the only one who didn't help them! She didn't belong with any of them, she didn't even have a digimon to use! How dare she even call herself his friend, she didn't even help anyone, she just thought about how she MIGHT help, but most of all, he thought of how he felt when he did not see Pirelli when the dust had cleared, Undramon lying by him, almost like he never had life in him anymore, and the feeling of his love and his greatest friend both taken from him was enough to make him crack, and that's exactly what he did, as some people had told him.Wedge awoke several hours later, in a cold sweat, heavy breath, and Undramon standing by the door of the tent. "Undramon, come in here, please" He whispered, and placed his head back onto the pillow as Undramon entered, and asked "What's wrong Wedge, you're sweating..." and he knelt beside him, a half smile on his face. Wedge shook his head and said "Nevermind, just go help with the construction" and got up, and walked out with Undramon, and halted, seeing a problem. "What's up with him?" Wedge asked, walking towards where the entrance door was being built. He repeated to Leomon "Hey, I'm talking to you, what's the problem?" and stopped, seeing what EXACTLY the problem was. A lone Gazimon was blocking the doorway with his body, and Wedge could make out what he was saying in the loud bustle of digimon working. He heard "THIS CANNOT CONTINUE, THESE REAL WORLD THINGS SHOULD NOT BE IN THE DIGITAL WORLD, I WON'T ALLOW YOU TO BUILD THIS WITHOUT FIRST TAKING MY LIFE!" and to which he replied, to Leomon "Fine, then delete him" face serious and finger pointed at Gazimon, and he said "If you won't, you're next, isn't that right, Vermillimon?" He looked behind him, seeing the Ultimate digimon growling in response. "So, Lemon, delete him or you are both deleted" He ended, and turned away, smirking evily as he walked away to inspect the rest of the constructions.
Leomon closed his eyes and, hearing the whimpering voice of the Gazimon, ignored all noise as he threw a fist forward and yelled "FIST OF THE BEAST KING!" which pierced through the Gazimon's torso, and soon there was nothing but the doorway that stood in front of Leomon. He opened his eyes and looked over to Vermillimon who nodded and stomped away, following Wedge. Leomon shook his head and mumbled "May death become you, Wedgamus Maximus" and continued, stepping inside of the door and seeing what else he needed to do.
Wedge stood on the left wing's completed rooftop, overviewing the rest of the right wing, as he felt something form in his hand. He recogonized it's warmth, but did not recognize it itself. It was a symbol he did not recognize, but his necklace began to glow as the stone symbol floated to his neck and slided inside, and a voice inside of his head said "Wedgamus Maximus, you have been cursed with the Crest of Death." but he shook his head, not paying attention, holding the tag and crest in front of his eyes. "Undramon, come here..." He said, eyes glazed over and almost psychotic looking, and the shape of a dragon flashed in his eyes as he felt Undramon appear beside him, "With this, my order will be heard throughout the land. Undramon, let this day come to pass as the day I come to hold enough power to RULE THE DIGITAL WORLD!" He yelled, throwing his arms into the air, laughing hysterically.

Chapter 13-Miscellaneous Mayhem
Jasmine spend the rest of the night, and most of the next morning sitting, alone, very quiet, thinking. She really had lost her friends. If Jenni hadn't been able to break free of that illusion, she would have been reillusioned to make sure she couldn't. If she had broke free, she'd be here. Same with the others. They really were lost to her, for now.
It was about lunchtime when Jasmine realized that she was starting to really get hungry, and also noticed that she hadn't really slept. Noticing that there wasn't that much food there, she snuck out of the tower, trying to not disturb the sleeping Alimon.
About an hour later, she had finally gotten to normal downtown, having avoided the dark area as much as possible. She bought a quick snack, planning out what she needed to get. Top of her list, besides food for her and Alimon, was some sort of paint or signs to make a path to go around the dark area at night. Not knowing the downtown area that well, she took a bus to Saressi Plaza, the shopping center not too far from Jenni's house, and one she knew very well.
Walking down the main part of the plaza, Jasmine looked around at everything very interested. Some shops were new, some old, and the presence of digimon was almost surprising. She walked to the main food court, seeing most of the same places. Most of this food wouldn't be good long-term; she'd have to go to a grocery store for that stuff, so that was the next stop. For now, she got in line to get something to take back to Alimon, planning what stores to go to next, like maybe glow in the dark spraypaint to use on the stupid trees in the dark area.
Wedge stood in front of the door to Saressi Plaza, eyes gleaming with determination. "All right boys, looks like this is the spot. Says right here on this, er, 'map' I stole. This is the place, yeah, so, everyone know what they're going in there for? Leomon, you?" He asked, turning around to his right and looking up.
Leomon nodded and said "Yes sir, I have been assigned to grab the furniture, two chairs, a couch, and a small table" He then saluted in respect and fell silent, looking forwards.
Wedge turned to his left, seeing the new Soldier of his, Andromon, and asked "And you?"
Andromon stiffened and replied "Sir, capture a 'television', sir!" and saluted, body tense.
Wedge smiled and said "Good. And as for us" Wedge said, seeing Undramon appear out from the shadows beside the door. "We will go for the vending machine, we requirement refreshment" Wedge stated, walking inside with Undramon, waving back to his two backup soldiers who ran in behind him, all four of them entering at the same time.
Andromon walked into the electronics department of a store, eyes darting back and forth. Wedge had told him 'If you come in contact with any resistance, neutralize it'. That means deleting it right? I mean, since data is just retransferred into Digi-Eggs, it shouldn't be THAT much of a problem, right? He thought as he made his way down the aisle into the plasma television section.
Wedge and Undramon quickly walked in the food court, Undramon avoiding glances from humans, Wedge giving nasty looks to passerby's who happened to have never seen a Digimon before. "Ignorant fools, don't worry about them" Wedge said quietly, looking over at Undramon.
Leomon walked through the plaza, bored out of his mind. He decided to maybe try asking someone, so he halted, and looked around. Then, he stopped, dead in his tracks, eyes narrowed, staring at Jasmine. She is here, at this very mall, what are the chances? He needed to address her. He walked slowly behind her and said "Excuse me miss, I was wondering if I could ask you something" with a sly smirk on his lips.
Jasmine turned to face Leomon. "Sure, what is it?"
Leomon smiled again and asked "Do you know where the luxury furniture store, I need to, find something" and then waited patiently.
Jasmine thought for a moment. "Upstairs, if you go up the escalator right there, and turn left. It's a couple stores down. But it's for humans mostly, I think. I haven't been there for a while so they may have changed, or at least I would hope so, if things have...sorry, I got off topic. I hope that helps though."
"Thank you miss" Leomon bellowed then turned around, walking towards the escalators. However he said out loud "Watch yourself here, you're not safe if you stay here and he finds you," and continued to walk.
Back in the electronics store, Andromon had already picked up the Television and had turned away and began to walk to the exit, but heard a voice from behind him say "Hey, you, Digimon, you gonna pay for that?"
"What if I do not want to?" Andromon replied, turning around.
"Then I'm gonna have to take that back, you dirty thief. I know you're type, all you Digimon think you're so tough, well I got a news flash for ya, HUMANS ARE THE DOMINANT RACE, AND I CAN PROVE IT IF YOU DON'T HAND OVER THAT TV!" The electronics store man yelled, eyes bulging.
Andromon laughed and set the Television down behind him. "Fine, human, challenge me with your pathetic ways" He said, pounding his fist against his chest.
Meanwhile, at the food court, Wedge looked around, eyes narrowed as Undramon snuck behind the vending machine, and pulled out the plug to it. Immediately Wedge saw two guards come from a Restricted Area door and noticed both were walking in their direction. "Hurry this up Undramon, I don't want any confrontation" He said, eyes darting to his belt, where his Digivice was clipped.
Wedge smirked as he saw Undramon lifted the Vending machine and began to walk, but as the guards approached, Wedge knew he had to stand and fight while Undramon escaped. Wedge waited until the guards were close enough then appeared from behind the moving Undramon and dashed forwards, sprinting towards the two Security officers. Wedge ducked under one's grabbing arm, locked a tight grasp around the Guard's wrist and punched him in the gut, then tripped him down forwards, pulling him by the wrist down onto his stomach.
The second guard was a bit smarter, however. He knew how to dodged Wedge's trip maneuvers. So, instead of using the same technique, Wedge instead moved with the guard's dodges and once in a while got a punch in, either at the side or the neck, and noticed that the Guard was getting woozy.

Chapter 14-Reflections During Chaos
Jasmine watched Leomon leave, confused on who he meant. As she looked around, she saw someone she thought she recognized. A moment later she remembered from where. Her first encounter with the young man was him attacking Lunamon with no reason, but also with the assumption that the two were partners. After that, the only other time she recalled seeing him was when the others were fighting Realemon. She tried to remember if there was anything else about him, as she moved to the back of the crowd starting to go near the confrontation.
Wedge heard the loud bang of something being set down a bit too harshly and saw a blue flash beside him, and smirked. "Undramon, you can take it from here" He said, then backed off, slightly turning towards the crowd that had gathered.
Undramon ran quickly and moved in for a sweepkick. Undramon's quick attack connected and the guard went down easily, and he turned around walking towards Wedge. Undramon moved his eyes around and as he walked, he automatically halted, looking at Jasmine.
"LIGHTNING BLADE!" Andromon fired off the attack at the human in the electronics store and it flew quickly, but he aimed it so it would not seriously injure him. It came in contact, skimming the man's shoulder, sending him to the ground, clutching the cut. Andromon noticed a crimson liquid coming from the man's injury. He dismissed it, turned around, picked up the Television and continued to leave the store, and automatically knew where he could find Wedge automatically, a rather large crowd had gathered at the food court.
Leomon smiled as he left the furniture store, carrying the couch, two men following behind with the chairs, and another with the table. Leomon laughed when he saw the fight from the railings above the Food court, and he saw that some armed guards were now approaching from the crowd.
Jasmine saw Wedge, but couldn't tell if he saw her. At this point, she just wanted to get out of the way, without causing more trouble. She tried to think of what route to take after leaving the food court. Being an outside mall, the plaza had lots of alleys to go to the main streets.
Undramon ran at the first armed guard and flipped over him, and kicked him in the back, sending him to the ground.
Wedge was surrounded by about three guards. He turned in a full circle constantly, as they stood around him, closing in on him. His eyes stopped as he saw Jasmine in the crowd, trying to leave. "You" He mumbled, eyes narrowing, angry.
Leomon dropped from the railing and landed behind Wedge, and said "You need some backup?" laughing.
Andromon put the TV down and said "You touch that, you're deleted" as he ran into the middle of the circle, jumping over the guards and landing beside Wedge and Leomon.
Jasmine watched for a moment, wondering why the other digimon were helping him She remembered from the battle with Lunamon, he had said his name was Wedge. She suddenly realized that if the Leomon, who was right there, meant Wedge, and he was after her, then standing there was probably a very bad idea.
She backed out of the crowd, and started running until she saw one branch of the mall, leading to a couple stores that lead out to the main street. She ducked into the anime store, and looking out the window, trying to see if she could see the food court or the fight.
Leomon pushed one of the guard's on the other, and grabbed the one that came from behind him onto the two he had just dropped. Easily, all three guards went down. "Hmph, let's get this stuff out of here" He said, jumping up back onto the railing above and dropped down with the couch in one arm and the two chairs in the other. "Andromon, can you grab the table along with the television?" He asked, looking over to where Andromon had ran and had now returned.
Andromon nodded and put the television down and leapt up, landing beside the table. He looked around at the humans who stared at him with uneasy looks. He shrugged it off mentally and grabbed the table easily in his hand and jumped back down, grabbing the Tv and putting it under his arm. He looked around and said "Where did Wedge and Undramon go?"

Chapter 15-Meetings of Direction
Wedge walked with Undramon towards the Neo Tokyo store that Undramon had spotted Jasmine run into, and as they approached the front door, the owner hastily walked away from the door, obviously a viewer of the fight. Wedge opened the door, and let Undramon step in first, then stepped in himself. "Guard the door" Wedge said, and looked around, and everyone in the small store darted their eyes away as his own searched the aisles and shelves.
Jasmine held her breath, backing away into the nearest corner. She barely breathed as she watched him, and desperately trying to plan some sort of escape plan. If he was just here to talk and be friendly, he wouldn't be acting this way. She had to get out of here.
Wedge turned away and opened the door and said to the approaching Leomon and Andromon "Send for more digimon to help you take the stuff back, we'll join you later" He then closed the door in their faces and walked into the store further, walking down the middle aisle, hearing people moving to the door but stopping when they saw Undramon. Wedge rounded the corner and heard someone breathing behind him. He slowly turned around, a wild smirk on his lips.
Undramon put his hand up and said "Sorry, not going anywhere" and shook his head.
Jasmine looked around. She took a deep breath to try to calm down. "Let the other people go. They don't need to be here. And I need to talk to you anyway. What do you think you're doing?" She thought for a moment, and almost panicked. "You aren't working for Realemon, are you?"
Meanwhile, outside the mall, Andromon sat, bored. "I sent the call out, Skeet and TobuGuilmon should be here soon to help us" He said, leaning back against the wall outside.
Leomon nodded and looked away to the sky, and sighed.
A few minutes later, Skeet appears with TobuGuilmon and takes the lighter stuff, Skeet taking the chairs, TobuGuilmon taking the Vending machine on his back. Leomon takes the couch and table and Andromon takes the Television. They all disappear in the direction of Wedge's Base.
Inside the Neo Tokyo Anime Store, Wedge laughed, but lowered his eyes to stare at Jasmine. "You think I'd be working with her? I'm a lot stronger then her, I need to bow to no one" He said, and then continued, "How dare you even speak to me, you are the reason I am so cold, you do not ask things of me, unless they are what you want me to have to do for me in exchange for forgiveness!" He yelled, angry, his hands clenched in tight, throbbing fists.
Undramon left the door and began down the aisle, blocking the only exit for Jasmine. He looked behind him, seeing the others escape, but they did not need to stay.
"What?" Jasmine said, shocked. "I didn't do anything to you. I hadn't even seen you until today, I haven't even been here a week. I didn't do anything, to anyone. I come home and I'm still without my friends." She stopped, noticing that she was getting too worked up. Yelling and fighting was not the solution. "But you said you aren't working for Realemon? That's good to hear. Is there anyone else? Everyone I've found so far was..." Jasmine said, not mentioning Alysha. She wasn't going to bother Alysha, she didn't need to be involved in this anymore.
"HOW DARE YOU FORGET WHAT YOU DID TO ME, TO EVERYONE!" He yelled, staring at her as he got closer to her. "You could have helped us back then with Realemon, instead you just stood there, hiding, THINKING of how you MIGHT be able to help. You're useless do you hear me Jasmine? You had no abilities, no unique characteristics that could POSSIBLY have bee of any assistance, you don't even have a digimon" He growled, eyes fiery with anger and vengeance.
Jasmine didn't say anything, knowing part of what he said was true, and part wasn't. If they were remembering the same events. She'd tried to help, but, there wasn't anything she could do. Because, she was herself. "I'm sorry," Jasmine finally said. "I know I can't do anything, like you guys can. But it wasn't my fault that I got sent away. But I'm going to find a way to help now, somehow. I don't know exactly how, or anything, but I won't be useless. You know what happened to the world, the dimensions. It's not right, I have to fix it. And that is something that I know I can do, in time."
"You have no right to fix this, I do. I am a DigiDestined, I am one of the chosen, you have no place in the Digital World, so I tell you this. If I ever find you there, it won't be such a pleasant meeting as this has been. I will fix this, I will bring Pirelli back, you go and sit in your room and think" He said, then turned away.
Undramon turned about face and walked to the door and waited.
"Wazumi, or someone, messed up the dimensions!" Jasmine said, almost yelling. "The digital world is part of the real world, so it's just a mess, it's not the way it should be. It has to be fixed. But do you even know how to, never mind."
Jasmine stopped, trying to think logically instead of ranting about the mess that she still felt was her responsibility. Making the only digidestined here another enemy would make things worse. "Okay, I know you are, in this situation, more responsible for this, being one of the few digidestined still themselves, and probably the only one that's in Acamina. But I can't go back, I won't go back home. I'll be at Lunamon's tower if you need me. I doubt I'll be at my Acamina home, but I can be more useful here than back home. And, I'm sorry, I'm sorry I couldn't do anything before now. But, we've both lost friends in all this. We'll get them back."
Wedge said nothing as he turned to her again, a small hurt in his eyes, but quickly replaced with a cold, blank, piercing stare of pure hate. "Jasmine, do not put yourself in this. Whether or not you have friends, you do not have the proper ability to help them. Please, don't put yourself in unnecessary danger." He then quickly caught himself, sounding as if he cared, and walked past her, a silent, brooding presence that walked to the door and out, leaving to the doors of the outside with his equally shadowy companion.
Jasmine frowned, watching them leave. Meeting Wedge had caused more problems than she could try to figure out solutions to. She decided to just let them be for now. She wasn't going to go home, but maybe trying to be more careful would be smart. She left the mall, heading to the grocery store that wasn't that far away. She needed time to think.
Instead of going back to the base, Wedge and Undramon stalked the streets of Acamina, eyes straight and dark as they walked, passing by store, person, and the occasional rookie or champion digimon. Wedge thought to himself, Why aren't these digimon back in the Digital parts of the world? And why aren't they attacking these humans, some of these scum have judged them freaks, or creatures of disgust, and yet, here they are, assisting and even enjoying assisting humans... makes me sick He frowned in anger, and he knew Undramon could tell he was upset.

Bonus Chapter 5-Daring Demi-Dimensional Dilemmas
She'd lost track of time a long time ago. Or at least time in her own home. Which, she had no idea where in the world that was. So if she didn't know where home was, or when home was, and she definately knew home wasn't a who, and knew home was a home, so she had the what, why was she worried about home?
The little ghostlike, fairy digimon floated down the hall, creeped out by the fancy hospital appearance and overly scientific feel to the place. She hadn't seen any humans here, which was good. Except unless there weren't humans, in which case there might be digimon. That could be fun unless they ate her. Then she'd have a little bit of trouble. But just a little. Not like they would really eat her, would they?
She shook her head, trying to get such silly thoughts out of her head. But, it was impossible; she was who she was. As her friends said, 'consistently inconsistent'. Or at least most said that. Jenni just said she was Hidimon, and Brian never said anything except getting mad. Okay, maybe he had a good reason to, based on how often she'd sit on people's heads in ghost mode, so they couldn't touch her. But Jenni let her do that, so why not them?
She smiled, suddenly hearing something. She flew to the noise, finding a group of kids being spoke to by some grownup. She turned herself invisible, and went inside the room. Although the kids were digidestiend. She didn't know how she knew that, even though they all had digimon. They all wore white uniforms with blue trim, looking all spiffy. Only one who didn't was a girl standing away from the group, with no digimon and no uniform. She left, cranky. Hidimon decided to not peek in her mind to find out why, she was more interested in random kids. Now being told they have to go to another dimension. Fun. She'd been doing a lot of that lately.
The adult guy talking to them started pushing random buttons on a big computer in the room. It was really cool, with all sorts of buttons and clicky things. Kinda like other clicky things on the toys Jenni and the others had at home, but a lot smaller. She got the feeling that the computer was going to do something, so she actually tried to focus. She watched as the kids and the random digimon with them disappeared into a big swirly hole in the air. The adult guy turned off the computer and walked out of the room, in the same door the pouting kid had gone.
Hidimon became visible, and sat on the computer, thinking. This had worked in just the same way as the D-Porter she had did. Go to other worlds. No idea where the kids went. She spun around and started pushing random buttons on the computer. A map appeared, with spots to put labels. Smiling, she began to type in where she had been, where she was going, what she was up to, where she wanted to go. She noticed that she started to get a bit silly, but it didn't matter. She clicked the final dot, and started looking for a print button, not that she needed a paper copy. Just a habit learned from the humans. She couldn't find that but she did see an email button. She typed in a random email she knew, not remembering who in the world's it was. She clicked send, and off it went.
A warning message appeared on the screen the moment after she clicked send. She turned invisible as she read the message. "Problems in this dimensional region, unnatural overlapping, possible dimensional damage..." she read to herself. She clicked the button, showing a close up picture of the map. It showed some dimensions all mixed up. It didn't make one bit of sense to her. So she just clicked okay. It'd be okay if she avoided that place. A new screen popped up. "That option is unavailable. Can only be changed by administration-Cake." she read, and smiled. Cake. Cake tasted good, back at home. Lots of different flavors. It was also the nickname one friend had for another, Gateau Wazumi. He was fun, and didn't taste like cake. She also thought she might like him but still forgot why since she wasn't human. No idea why he'd be involved in this dimension. She activated her little D-Porter and became visible, now interested in finding either Cake or cake. Either way, it'd be fun. Who wanted to be boring and worry about dimensional administrators. Plus, she got the feeling that the adults now staring at her were thinking she caused this problem and maybe she didn't, but still time to go. Maybe find some foreign cake to bring home to Cake. She waved to the people, and poofed though the portal as it closed behind her.

Chapter 16-Connective Reflections
Jasmine spent the rest of the day getting supplies, like the glowing spraypaint, and food, stuff that wouldn't go bad and didn't need heating. She wasn't able to get very much in general, since she would have to carry it back to the tower herself, and she didn't have that much extra money anyway.
Along the way back home, she did paint the trees to mark a clear and safe path avoiding the dark area, where she saw Jenni yesterday. Was it really yesterday? Everything kept seeming to last forever, even though logically it added up to nothing done. She'd seen Lunamon die, saved Alimon, remet the unaware Alysha and sneaky Brandy, visited the apartment, met the Hidimonish Jenni, and today ran into the disruptive Wedge. But how did any of this help get her closer to saving them?
She took the groceries to the tower, stuck them in the closet, and for the rest of the night, just sat at the tower, thinking, trying to see a solution. She had to find a solution. Alysha was in no position to be brought back into this mess. Brandy would probably try to make Jasmine join them before helping Jasmine with her plans, whatever they were. Jenni...she didn't want to think about how unnatural Jenni was. Brian and Pirelli were lost, but at least safe, and lucky also, getting to go to cool dimensions. At least Wedge was against Realemon, but going about it all wrong. How could any of them do anything if they were all divided? But maybe he was right, that since she wasn't digidestined, she couldn't do anything to help, or at least directly. She was as useful in fighting as Brian's sisters. Maybe worse, since they knew Taekwondo. She just had to find a way to make herself useful, if she wanted to get anywhere. It was impossible to become digidestined, and she couldn't fight like the girls could anyway, especially with her dresses. But there's other ways to cause things to happen in life.
The next day, she actually got up early, although she didn't really get up at all; she hadn't really slept, once again. Making a mental note to try to get sleep that night, she left the tower, and first went downtown, then taking the bus down Nee Way to CSUA, the college her and her friends had gone to.
Once there, despite all the annoyances going on in the outside world, this was another place that still felt like home. All the pretty trees and flowers, it was open yet close together at the same time. All the buildings had interesting appearances and architecture, and memories associated with them and happier times.
The first thing she did besides wandering around was go to Maple Hall, the building with all the academic info and financial offices were, to see what her actual status at the college was. She was glad to see that she had passed her classes that first quarter, which had ended the day before Michelle's party, which lead up to that horrible battle with Realemon and started all this. After that point, she simply hadn't registered for classes, and it was too late for her to register for next quarter anyway. Not that it'd be a good idea, since she had things to do.
Next, she headed to Lavender Hall, which by far was one of her favorite buildings at the college, mostly due to its interesting design. Many glass windows made it all shimmery, but the windows were parallelograms, not rectangles. The windows often reflected a sort of green light onto the ground when hit by the sun just right. And almost as if reflecting the name, along the sides of the building were lavender plants, giving off their unique smell.
She quickly went to the computer lab inside the building, and logged on. First she checked her mail, but found mostly junk mail, but there were some letters from home and the DigiReal Station. She deleted the junk mail, but didn't open the good mail right away. She checked several news sites, seeing what was going on. Major confusion on more places being where they don't belong, or didn't exist. Extremely unusual population growth. Random digimon attacks. Frequent digimon/human battles in Japan. Looking at the pictures, she saw that it was her friends from there. The troubling thing was, it was both her Japanese friends from her own dimension, like Takato and Rika, and her friends from Jenni's dimension, like Tai and Davis. The article was very vague, but the pictures almost seemed to imply that the two dimensional groups were fighting each other.

Chapter 17-Association by Relation Jasmine spent a few minutes looking for more articles on the Japanese digidestined, trying to find any more information. Were the two groups fighting? None of the articles that were in English understood anything, and the computer couldn't read Japanese. She suddenly remembered the emails, and rushed to read them.
--To: D-3@Dterm.digi.com --From: dnsteele@aplezu.com - --Number one, did you realize you forgot your laptop? Stupid. And now that you're gone and things are nuts here, your friends at the DigiReal Station want me to work there now after school. Wonderful. Not that I know anything, they're just buried in work and boring stuff. And all the random attacks, it's dangerous. Good luck surviving if you're at the center of the insanity. - --Donald Nick "Not Donick" Steele
----------------------------------
--To: D-3@Dterm.digi.com --From: llsteele@aplezu.com - --Jasmine, how are you? You're being safe, right? I've yet to find a proper news channel on TV, but I've been checking the news online. It appears that Acamina isn't that dangerous as we are here. Those digimon/human pairs have been attacking, causing more trouble for everyone here. While your friends from the DigiReal Station haven't been the one causing trouble, they haven't been successful in stopping it. --How are things physically there? Do you have everything you need? How are your friends, or have you been able to find them? If possible, please reply soon, or call, or anything. Although returning here is a bad idea right now. Due to all the attacks, they'd prefer for people to evacuate instead of come. But stay safe, be careful, and communicate. - --Love, Mom.
----------------------------------
--To: D-3@Dterm.digi.com --From: hwasiku@Digireal.com - --Jasmine, - --At the moment, we are unaware of what is happening in Acamina, and most likely vice versa. However, we do need to establish communication, this is something we had not planned very well. There have been new, different tamers randomly attacking different areas of Tokyo, but for the most part, Takato and the others have been able to prevent most serious problems. This isn't anything you should worry about too much, but still something you should be aware of, correct? --When possible, you should try to provide us with some sort or physical mailing address, so we can try to contact you, or if needed, mail things to you. --One final note-You seem to understand what has been going on with the dimensions better than we thought we did. Not everyone is accepting the theories that we've been investigating, especially ones that are primarily based on the children's testimonies and evidence from 3 years ago. When you have a chance, would it be possible to send any information you have on this dimensional fusion? Even if you don't have a degree in this, your actual employment here might be enough credibility, besides your own testimony which is mostly unavailable at this current time. This would be greatly appreciated. - --Dr. Hirosu Wasiku
----------------------------------
Attached to Dr. Wasiku's email was a list of questions and where to email replies to. She printed out the emails, and logged out of the computer. She went over to the bookstore, which was just around the corner from Lavender Hall. There, she got several envelopes, stamps, a note book, and a couple pens. Since she wasn't sure how much computer access she might have over the time she'd be in Acamina, physical communication was best. It's not like she had anything to hide.
Just as Jasmine paid for those goods, spending the last of her money, she noticed someone she thought she knew staring at her. Looking at the person, an Asian girl, she didn't really know who she was, so Jasmine quickly left the book store and headed to the bus area to leave.
In the bus area, she found that she had just missed the bus, and leaving her here for about half an hour. As she sat down and started to write a letter to her mom, the girl walked up to her. "Hey, aren't you Brandy's friend?" she asked.
Jasmine kept repetitively yelling at herself for not knowing who this was, despite remembering her somehow. At least she was certain that she wasn't a digidestined. "Do I know you?" she replied, nodding.
"Maybe. Jenni and Brandy knew me really. I just know you're one of their friends," the girl replied. Jasmine kept remembering the Gotsumon's accusations due to association. "I'm Mai Lee, one of their old high school and college friends."
Jasmine almost smiled in relief; this wasn't an enemy, just a normal college person. "I'm Jasmine, their friend from...random associations. The cousin of the best friend of one of their DnD friends," she said, using her typical explanation to normal, non-dimensional people. It was weird trying to think how normal people would talk; she'd been involved in dimensions too long.
"Howdy," another voice said, and Jasmine turned to see another person walking up to her. This girl she did know as one of her old college classmates, a dark skinned girl named Kiera Shening. "Where've you been?"
"I had to return home. Probably won't be able to attend class for a while though." Jasmine replied, hoping she wouldn't have to explain. Kiera was one of Jenni's good college friends; Mai one of Brandy's. Was telling them what was really going on a good idea?
Kiera sat down on the bench, smirking. "Ahh, working on your dimensional stories?" Mai looked at her confused, as Jasmine closed the notebook.
"Not stories, my theories, which seem to be proving themselves true." Jasmine replied, looking around. The whole time she'd been at the college, there hadn't been a single digimon anywhere. "I highly disapprove of how it's happening though. The world's aren't meant to be this way."
"Wait, what?" Mai asked, now very confused. "Do you mean you know about the monsters?"
"Yeah, the digimon," Jasmine said, about to open her notebook to try to draw one of her dimensional maps, but decided against it, knowing not everyone understood her maps; she didn't always understand them. "The technological worlds, like this one, have a sort of other world, created due to the digital information, internet, and similar stuff. The digimon live there. But the two worlds have been fused together, and this isn't right. Dimensions aren't meant to be together." She paused, thinking of how inverted that was of what Jenni often said, that friends are meant to be together.
"O-kay..." Kiera said, not sounding at all convinced. "Anyway, how's your sister?"
Both Jasmine and Mai stared at Kiera. Mai turned to Jasmine. "You never said you had a sister. Does she go here?"
Jasmine shook her head. "I don't..."
"Sister, twin, dimensional copy, whatever you two call yourselves. Jenni Harris." Kiera explained.
Jasmine sighed. She'd forgotten that she told Kiera the whole parallel theory when Kiera had started saying that because Jenni and Jasmine looked too similar to not be twins, despite different backgrounds, names, and personalities. She glanced over to Mai, now looking at Jasmine in a questioning tone. "We aren't related, we're parallel. The dimension's aren't perfectly parallel though, otherwise we would be identical, which would get confusing....especially now, with our two dimensions fused..."
"I'm lost...." Mai said, and her pocket started beeping. She pulled out her cellphone, and pushed a button. "Great, my alarm. I gotta go, I have an appointment to go to. Advising for next semester's classes. Anyway, can you tell Brandy to call me, I haven't gotten ahold of her in a while, and haven't seen her in class either."
Jasmine shook her head. "Um, I probably won't be able to get ahold of her any better, plus the fact that...since we have different views on the dimensional and digital issues, she probably won't want to talk to me much anyway. But it was nice seeing you."
Mai shook her head, not understanding or believing Jasmine's excuse. "Uh huh. Bye." She quickly headed back towards Maple Hall, where the academic advising offices were.
"You really need to get back in reality," Kiera told her, as Jasmine started writing the letter again. "How many people even believe your stories?"
"Digidestined. People who've dealt with digimon. Others involved in dimensional theories. Most people in Japan. Anyone working at the DigiReal Station." Jasmine mindlessly listed, getting stuck on the letter. The people she'd just explained were in a more dangerous digital situation than she was now, but she was needed here to stop the cause of the problem.
"Kay...so what's that mean? How do you fix this dimensional problem you think exists?" Kiera asked.
Jasmine looked up from the letter. "I can't completely prove the parallel dimensions being fused without proper evidence, although I'll try to find it. The digital worlds being here is easily seen, with all the digimon around. I suppose if looking for real world places in places they shouldn't be, that could prove it. But I don't know how to fix it, but I will. I've promised too many people I would."
Kiera shook her head. "Okay...good luck with that." She stood up. "Anyway, my bus is here, so, gotta go. You have my number, right? Call me some time, although can't help ya with the dimensional stuff."
"It's more of a digidestined, or friends of digidestined, problem. But it was nice seeing you again."
"Uh huh, same here, bye." Kiera said, going to the newly arrived bus. That bus left a couple minutes later, as Jasmine went back to writing the letter. Her own bus came soon, right on time. She got on, and fell asleep.
